Zuzana Niederdorfer

... born in Slovakia, started her career with numerous successes at international piano competitions such as the Schumann Competition in Zwickau and the Paloma O'Shea in Santander. After her studies in Bratislava her musical background was influenced and accompanied by the great piano pedagogues Vera Gornostaeva, Lazar Berman and György Sebök. 

Zuzana Niederdorfer

Zuzana Niederdorfer has devoted herself to the teaching and promotion of young, high-talented pianists with great success for more than 20 years, besides her solo and chamber music performances. For many years her pupils record numerous first prizes at the most important international piano competitions for young pianists. As a recognized pedagogue, she teaches piano courses far beyond the borders of Europe, in USA and China. She is artistic director of the international festival "Forum per tasti" in Slovakia and professor for piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz / Austria.

Zuzana Niederdorfer teaches the PIANALE JUNIOR participants for the first time in 2017. Languages of instruction: Russian, German, English, Slovak.
