Akiko Ebi
Japanese pianist Akiko Ebi, started an overwhelming career in 1975 after winning the Grand Prix of the International Marguerite Long Competition in Paris. Five years later Martha Argerich became her mentor when she was a laureate of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Akiko Ebi studied in Paris with Aldo Ciccolini, Vlado Perlemuter and Louis Kentner. She performs all over the world as a soloist and collaborates in chamber music with such distinguished artists as Martha Argerich, Ivry Gitlis, Regis Pasquier, Rafael Gintoli , Angela Hewitt and Michel Dalberto.
She is professor for piano at the „Geidai“-Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and member of jury at competitions as Marguerite Long, Clara Haskil, José Iturbi, Vianna da Motta, Gina Bachauer, Porto and Montreal.
Ralf Nattkemper
German born pianist Ralf Nattkemper studied in Düsseldorf and Hamburg (Germany) as well as in Lausanne (Switzerland). His teachers include the Russian-Brazilian pianist Yara Bernette, the Italian-Argentinian pianist Fausto Zadra as well as the famous Wilhelm Kempff. Therefore he combines South American piano playing with the best of the German tradition of music. Ralf Nattkemper is a jury member of several international piano competitions and presents master classes in cities like Brussels, Venice, Paris, Rotterdam, Lausanne, Madrid, Sofia and Lisbon. He has been teaching as Professor of Piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg (Germany) since 1985.
Friedemann Rieger
German born pianist Friedemann Rieger enjoys an international career as a soloist and chamber musician and has recorded well over 20 Cds. He studied in Germany in Stuttgart, Munich and Freiburg with Dora Metzger, Vladimir Horbowski, Andrzej Jasinski y Carl Seemann. He was one of the founders of the „Trio Parnassus“ and has been performing with the „Trio Kreisleriana“ and the „Menuhin Festival Piano Quartet“ since 1989. Friedemann Rieger is Professor of Piano and Chamber music at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart (Germany) and at the Musikhochschule Zürich/Winterthur (Switzerland).
JoaquÃn Soriano
Spanish born pianist JoaquÃn Soriano is one of those pedagogues whose teachings are highly acclaimed not only in Europe but also in Australia, the United States and Asia. Once a student of Vlado Perlemuter, Marcelle Heuclin and Alfred Brendel, JoaquÃn Soriano continues the tradition of great masters like Ravel and Cortot. He gives regular master classes in New York, Paris, Salzburg, Imola, Moscow, Texas and Shanghai. JoaquÃn Soriano is president of the International Piano Competition „José Iturbi“ in Valencia (Spain) and juror for numerous international piano competitions.
Uta Weyand
German born pianist Uta Weyand combines her dynamic concert life with numerous pedagogical activities, giving master classes and conferences at conservatories and universities in Europe as well as North and South America. She studied in Germany, USA and Spain with Elza Kolodin, Leon Fleisher, Vitaly Margulis and JoaquÃn Soriano. In 2000 she was appointed Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Music in Castellón (Spain). She has been teaching piano at the Royal Conservatory in Madrid since 2002. Uta Weyand is founder of the PIANALE Piano Academy and initiator of the series of concerts „Schlosskonzerte Osthessen“ in Germany.
